TOPEKA, Kan(WIBW)--Parents had some extra bonding time with their children Tuesday night.
Topeka public schools hosted its parent-child playtime at Quinton Heights. The program has been going on for years but this was the first time a night session was offered.
The goal is to provide mental and social stimulation for the kids and bonding time for the families.
The program will continue 11AM-12PM Wednesdays and Thursdays and at 6PM on Tuesdays at Quinton Heights.
Pine Ridge also offers play time sessions at 1PM to 2:30PM on Mondays and Tuesdays and 10 to 11:30 on Fridays.
