(CBS/AP)-- First lady Michelle Obama celebrated her 49th birthday on Thursday with some new changes -- a new look and a new Twitter handle.
Mrs. Obama debuted a new hairstyle with bangs in a photo released on her new @FLOTUS Twitter account (FLOTUS is the acronym for "First Lady of the United States").
The Twitter handle, which is run by the first lady's office, was unveiled Thursday. The Obama campaign runs a separate Twitter account, @MichelleObama.
As for how Mrs. Obama celebrated her birthday, which comes right before inaugural festivities get under way, the Washington Post reports that President Obama took his wife out to dinner at Georgetown restaurant Cafe Milano.
