TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- K-State fans in Topeka came out in bulk to Kansas Sampler to see a football star.
Not just any football star though -- Collin Klein -- the former quarterback who led the Wildcats to a Big 12 title last season.
He's graduated from K-State since, and now looking to secure a spot in the NFL.
He visited Kansas Sampler with his wife, and signed autographs for tons of fans that wrapped around the building waiting to meet him.
After his participation in the combine, Klein says he feels good about being able to sign a deal for the pros.
"I feel like I had a good two days, I feel like I made progress and really improved before the combine first," Klein said. "And the timie between the combine and Pro Day, I felt like we made some strides there too, so I know we're moving in the right direction. I just love the game and getting better and we're having fun with it."
Klein has visited the Kansas Sampler in Wichita, and says he's not sure if he'll visit any others.
