Longwood, FL(CBS/WKMG)-- Most trips to the gas station are pretty forgettable, but for one Central Florida family, their visit early Wednesday morning is a memory they'll never forget.

John Tester helped his wife, Shelly, deliver their son around 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station on State Road 434 near Interstate 4 in Seminole County. The newborn, a 7-pound 7-ounce boy named Colton, and his mother are both doing well.

John and Shelly Tester, who have two other children, were at their home near Enterprise when she went into labor. As they were driving to Florida Hospital Altamonte in their white pickup truck, the baby wouldn't wait, so John Tester pulled over and called 911.

"I had to deliver that baby in my truck with the aid of 911," said an emotional John Tester. "It was a pretty wild night."

Paramedics arrived after Colton was born, and the baby and mother were taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
