WINFIELD, Mo. (AP) _ The body of a 37-year-old Winfield man who had been missing since a canoe tipped over on Tuesday was found on the shore of the Missouri River.
Missouri Water Patrol officials say the body of Keith Fietsam was found Sunday by family and friends who were out searching the shorelines of the river.
Fietsam was a passenger in a canoe Tuesday when the canoe was caught in a strong current and capsized. The other man, Leo Geringer, swam to shore and called for help.
The search for Fietsam included search dogs and recovery boats.
