Three big decisions were made with no dissention at Tuesday's Topeka city council meeting.
Council members voted nine to nothing approving a one and a half million dollar project budget beefing up the infrastructure for the Central Park and Holliday Park neighborhoods.
They unanimously turned down developer Gene Janni's damage claim of two million dollars over his due-process zoning claims. Janni's battling the city over his brainstorm project at 33rd and Southwest Fairlawn.
With only Brett Blackburn abstaining the council decided to wait one week to tweak the language on the resolution officially ending Topeka's lease purchase for another police helicopter.
