KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ Authorities have charged a Missouri man
with killing a Kansas City, Kan., bartender who refused the suspect
Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman on Wednesday
charged Brandon Hulett, of Raytown, Mo., with first-degree murder
in the early Saturday shooting of bartender Lori Reynolds.
Hulett is also charged with one count of aggravated battery and 10 counts of aggravated assault.
Reynolds was working at The Gossip Inn when she refused to serve Hulett, who turned 21 a week earlier, because he lacked proper identification. Hulett allegedly opened fire, striking Reynolds multiple times and spraying up to eight rounds through the bar.
No one else was injured.
Hulett's bond is set at $500,000.
