LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Filmmaker Michael Moore is calling on voters in Pennsylvania to cast their ballots for Barack Obama.
In a posting on his Web site, Moore writes that Obama's experience and voting record aren't as important as his "basic decency'' and ability to inspire. He writes that people are witnessing "not just a candidate but a profound, massive public movement for change."
Moore wasn't as kind to Hillary Rodham Clinton. He assailed her for going negative, saying that her actions and words in the last 2 months have gone from disappointing to "downright disgusting."
But either way, he writes that come November, he will stagger into the voting booth, "looking for that big 'D' on the ballot" after being "pummeled senseless" under the Bush administration
for 8 long years.
