ST. LOUIS (AP) _ A 21-year-old suspect is hospitalized after being shot by a St. Louis police officer.
It happened late Thursday. The suspect is in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his left arm. Names of the suspect and the officer were not released.
Police say the incident began when a Mobile Reserve officer approached the man, who ran through a gangway, jumped a fence and dropped a handgun.
