Russian Military Jet Crashes in Far East

MOSCOW (AP) -- The Russian air force says one of its fighter jets has blown up in flight near the Far East city of Vladivostok and the pilot has been killed.

The Su-25 plane had been on a training flight about 90 miles outside the Pacific port city.

All Su-25s are grounded while the military investigates the cause of Thursday's explosion.

The Su-25 is a single-seat, twin-engine jet used to support ground troops.
