TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas Gas Service customers will see a slight increase in their bills beginning this January.
The Kansas Corporation Commission Wednesday approved a settlement agreement between KGS and the Citizens' Utility Ratepayer Board.
It grants Kansas Gas Service a $28 million rate increase.
Customers will see an approximate increase of $2 per month -- not including the cost of gas.
KGS originally requested a $50.7 million increase.
The new rates take effect January 1.
