Woman Charged With Aiding Husband In 2009 Murder

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__A convicted murderer's wife was arrested early Tuesday morning in Topeka on charges of aiding a felon.

Brad Lippert, a Nemaha County Attorney, alleges that Rebecca Hollister aided her husband, Roger Hollister, with the intent that he avoid arrest, trial, conviction or punishment for the commission of a felony.

On March 1, 2011, an Atchison County jury found Roger Hollister guilty of capital murder in the death of Patricia Kimmi.

Rebecca Hollister was arrested at her home in Topeka, Kansas, following an investigation by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. She remains incarcerated in the Nemaha County Jail. Bond has been set by the District Court of Nemaha County at $100,000.00.

The charges filed against Rebecca Hollister are merely accusations. She is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
