Snow Next Week?

A long-range computer model is showing a very strong cold front that will bring a chance of snow next Tuesday into Tuesday night.

While significant accumulations are not expected, a few flakes of snow will be possible as temperatures drop like a rock behind a powerful cold front that will move through on Tuesday. Temperatures look to drop into the 30s by Tuesday afternoon and then high temperatures will only be in the 30s on Wednesday.

Less than 1/2 inch of accumulation would be possible at the very most.

This would not be the first snow we have seen this season in Eastern Kansas. A powerful October storm system brought wet snow to the state on Friday, October 18th with some areas seeing a brief dusting on grassy surfaces.
