TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) Topeka Police are looking for the man who robbed a Topeka Holiday Inn Sunday Night.
Authorities say that around 8:20 p.m. officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel on S.W. Robinson regarding a robbery.
Witnesses say the suspect came into the business and waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes saying he was waiting for his fiancee.
The male suspect then came up to the counter and told the clerk to put money in his ball cap or he would shoot her. The clerk complied and the man left the business with an unknown amount of cash. He never displayed a gun. No injuries were reported.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 40's with balding gray hair, standing 5'9" tall weighing 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light colored polo shirt, blue jeans and glasses on top of his head at the time of the robbery.
