TOPEKA. Kan. (WIBW) -- A fire was quickly extinguished at a manufacturing facility in Marysville Wednesday morning.
Marysville Fire Chief David Richardson says smoke had filled shop 50 at the Landoll Corporation when firefighters arrived around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
All employees were safely evacuated from the shop and no one was hurt.
Richardson says a piece of machinery inside the shop caught fire, but was quickly extinguished when an automatic fire suppression system engaged. He says there was no major structural damage to the building.
Fire crews cleared the scene around 7:20 a.m.
Shop 50 is located at 1085 Pony Express Highway.
