Kansas Representative Joe Patton (R-Topeka) announced he has scheduled the second series of meeting to discuss reforming the state's sentencing guidelines.
The meeting will be held Saturday, at 3:00 p.m. in Room 519-South in the Capitol.
Rep. Patton is hosting these meetings concerning sentencing guidelines as part of Safe Streets of Topeka/Shawnee County's project to make Topeka the "Safest Capital City" of more than 100,000 populations.
Those on the coalition have been divided into committees to study a variety of issues focusing on prevention.
Rep. Patton serves on the coalition's Government Committee.
