LYNDON, Kansas - A 23 year old man was killed in an accident near Lyndon Thursday morning, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Troopers were on the scene near the intersection of K-268 and US-75 around 4:00 a.m. The highway patrol crash log reports William Hodgson, of Osage City, was driving east on K-268 and lost control for an unknown reason.
Patrol says Hodgson then overcorrected, crossed the road and hit a ditch before his SUV went airborn and rolled in a field.
Hodgson was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash log shows he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
