By  |

The Topeka International Trashmasters' Golf Tournament is putting off on Friday, August 3.

The event is sponsored by Waste Management and Rolling Meadows Recycling and Disposal Facility for the benefit of Sheltered Living Inc.

Sheltered living,Inc. provides residential, day and case management services for 200 adults with disabilities.

Tournament proceeds will be used to support the residential program which serves 178 clients.

Players don't have to worry about being a good golfer, there is no normal scoring, but trash shots are awarded.

Shots that end up in the water, bushes, hit a tree or cart path earn "trash points" when someone scores a bogey or better.
