Jackson County to Cut Jobs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Jackson County plans to cut at least 100 jobs and borrow 20 million dollars to make ends meet in 2007. County Executive Mike Sanders delivered the bad news to the County
Legislature yesterday -- he said he won't know for several weeks which jobs would be abolished, but he said all departments will be
affected.
