Second Annual American Cowboy Day

Dust off your boots and shine up your spurs and celebrate the National Day of the American Cowboy.

Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site will be the site of family activities celebrating National American Cowboy.

Visitors can see rope makers, pelt display, and try their hand at lasso practice.

Josh and Gwen Hoy from the Flying W Ranch will conduct cowboy cooking demonstrations.

Don Eves will perform live western music and Kyler Carpenter will tell cowboys stories.

All buildings will be open for touring. The event goes from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.
