The Topeka branch of the NAACP welcomes Kansas Hispanic and Latin American Affairs Commission Executive Director Steve Cisneros.
Cisneros will speak Saturday at the Brown V. Board if Educational National Historic Cite. His talk will be entitled "The Mission and Work of the Kansas Hispanic and Latin American Affairs Commission."
Cisneros is a native to Kansas. He was a private Coordinator in the Clinton Administration where he helped facilitate policies that assisted small businesses. He worked as a Special Assistant to both Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the Secretary of Transportation.
The public is invited to attend. The meeting starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Site, 1515 SE Monroe.
