Kansas State is promised another $1 million dollars from a pair who graduated from there. Steve and Cathy Lacy of Des Moines, Iowa have committed the million to the university's "Changing Lives" Campaign.

Part of the Lacy's gift will be earmarked for the Lacy Family Scholarship in Business, which will be awarded to a new Kansas State Freshman from Bishop Miege High in Shawnee Mission, Kansas who enters the university with at least a 3.0 average. The Wiltfong Family Leadership Scholarship Fund will also benefit from the gift. That grant goes to an out-of-state freshman with a 'B' average or better.

Steve Lacy is President and CEO of the media marketing Meredith Corporation.
