A five-car chain reaction accident involving injuries happened Tuesday in Manhattan, Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol the accident happened around 5:30pm Tuesday afternoon on McCall Road near US-24 Highway in Pottawatomie County.
One person was reportedly injured and taken to a Manhattan hospital, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The accident started when a vehicle driven by 53 year old Roger Frost of Laredo, Texas. According to the KHP he was following too closely as he followed four vehicles that had either stopped or slowed down for traffic in front of them. Frost was driving a 2004 Ford SUV and was not injured in the crash.
At the time of the wreck everyone involved in the pile up was wearing their seat belt.
