Topeka celebrated Saint Patrick's Day on Saturday.
Many started the day by honoring the man himself. Hundreds attended mass at Assumption Church.
After mass it was off to the parade.
"I'm so proud of Topeka we have so such a tradition of having this parade because look at the crowd and the at how much fun their having," said Maggie Kelley.
Others took the day to give back to the community.
Patrick Grogan, owner of Pat the Plumber, said, "We just try and help out the community to do whatever we can, we donated 250 dollars to Let's Help to help them out."
