(WIBW) - VFW Post 1367 motorcycle riders in Holton will rev their engines Saturday, Sept. 21st for their second annual Ride to Remember.
This year's event honors Capt. Jason McMahon, who was killed in action in Afghanistan. Money raised will go toward lighting for the veteran's memorial in Holton.
Registration begins at 7:30 am Saturday, with kickstands up for the ride at 10 am. The route leaves from the VFW post at 926 W. 6th St. and will take people to stops including Wamego and Onega before returning to Holton for lunch.
Cost for each motorcycle to participate is $45, which includes five raffle tickets, a tshirt and lunch. The general public is invited to the VFW post for lunch, with a $7 donation for the memorial.
