Fort Riley Police Investigating Incident That Left Soldier Wounded

FORT RILEY, Kan. (WIBW) -- Military police at Fort Riley are investigating an incident that sent a soldier to the hospital with what sources say were multiple knife wounds.

Officials say the soldier arrived at Irwin Army Community Hospital's emergency room Tuesday afternoon with a number of lacerations.

As a safety precaution, the hospital briefly "changed their security measures," officials said, as the staff sorted out where the incident occurred and where the suspect was.

Fort Riley authorities are not releasing any details on the case in the midst of their police probe.
