FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP)-- A new class of military officers and civilian employees will graduate next week from the Army's Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth.

Nearly 1,100 students will receive their diplomas June 13 at the Main Parade Field at the northeast Kansas Army post. The class includes 12 U.S. government civilians and 70 officers representing international militaries.

The students spent 10 months studying advanced military skills and leadership techniques in preparation for their next assignments in military or government service.
