Manhattan High Boys Basketball Coach Resigns

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) Manhattan High School Boys Basketball coach Tim Brooks after starting a 2 week suspension has turned in his resignation according to a statement released by Manhattan High sports administrator Mike Marsh.

Marsh’s statement also thanked Brooks for his efforts during the past 9 years and wished him the best

Brooks had been under a two week suspension and the team had been under the direction of Shane Sieben and Benji George and delivered a 3 and 1 record and will continue sharing coaching duties the remainder of the season.

This was Brooks tenth season as Manhattan High head coach. During Brooks’s tenure the Indians had a 115 and 92 record and 7 and 4 record this season.

Shawnee Heights will be the next Manhattan opponent Friday night in Topeka.
