Local Schools Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Updated: 05/06/2008 - Several local schools got in on the Cinco de Mayo celebrations Monday. Older and younger students teamed up at McCarter Elementary to make traditional Mexican arts and crafts. Over at Whitson Elementary Monday students tried on sombreros and ponchos, enjoyed Mexican food and even learned Spanish words and a dance.
