TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) --- A woman was hospitalized Thursday morning with a gunshot wound after apparently shooting herself.
Topeka Police Officers responded to the Kwik Shop at 746 NE Wabash around 11:30 Wednesday evening.
Upon arrival, officers located a female victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the foot, which appears to be self inflicted.
Police Officers are still interviewing witnesses and trying to find out why the woman took out a gun at the convenience store.
No criminal charges have been filed.
