(KAKE NEWS)-- A woman is dead after a rollover crash Wednesday on the Kansas Turnpike.
The accident happened shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday in the southbound lanes of I-35 just north of Gardner in Johnson County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of a southbound Ford Explorer went left off the roadway, over-corrected, came back across both lanes of traffic and off the right side of the road and rolled.
Tamiqua S. Kendricks, 25, of Gardner was ejected from the SUV and pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
