TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Topeka woman connected to a January 2013 murder is back in jail on several charges.
24 year old Desiree Shopteese was booked into Shawnee County Jail early Saturday morning at 1 a.m. on a DUI warrant, identity Theft, obstruction and transportation of an open container of alcohol.
In 2013, Shopteese was convicted of obstruction connected to the January shooting death of Kevin Stanley in Mayetta, after she fled the state with three other people including the man charged with the murder, Lloyd Wabaunsee.
Shopteese was also the fiance of David Tiscareno, the man who shot and killed two Topeka Police officers in December of 2012.
