TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Wolf Creek officials will meet with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff next month regarding problems discovered in an August inspection.

The NRC found Wolf Creek performance issues in identifying and resolving problems, and what they call "human performance."

Wolf Creek and NRC staffers will meet Dec. 10 in Arlington, Texas. The public can observe and ask questions at the meeting.

The NC lowered Wolf Creek's rating after a Jan. 13 shutdown due to the loss of off site power.

Wolf Creek says it solved the issue that caused the shutdown.
