STAFFORD, Kan. (KAKE-TV) -- A Wichita tow truck driver has been killed and the Kansas Highway Patrol needs the public's help in tracking down the driver of a car that struck him.

The accident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday in Stafford County.

KAKE News is told 39-year-old Scott Christopher Burton was struck and killed by a passing car as he was securing a Village Tours bus to his tow truck after it broke down just west of Stafford.
