WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Wichita Police have increased patrols at a local school after a driver approached two middle school students. The incident happened at 7:50 a.m. Monday near Mead Middle School, 2601 E. Skinner.
Two 13-year-old boys said a man tried to talk them into getting into his car to avoid being late for school. They walked to school and reported the incident.
The boys described the man only as white and 30 to 40 years old. He was driving a gold Buick.
