Wendy's Presents Boys And Girls Club Of Topeka With Check
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Boys and Girls Club of Topeka received a nice check Monday, just in time for the holidays.
The Legacy Restaurant Group -- owners and operators of the Wendy's food chain selected the club to be this year's recipient of their "Giving Back" Campaign.
They presented the club with a check for $6,000 at Monday's presentation ceremony.
Wendy's customers could visit any participating restaurant during the first two weeks of December and Wendy's made a donation for each sale.
