The 12th annual Bone Appetit is taking place at the Regency Ballroom of the Ramada Inn Saturday night from 6 to 10 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for Helping Hands Humane Society. Call Helping Hands at 233-7325 for more information.
Sunset Zoo in Manhattan is holding their Friends of the Sunset Zoo's Wine in the Wild Saturday night. The event starts at 7 p.m. and has wine and food tasting all throughout. That's not the only event at the Sunset Zoo this weekend. They are unveiling their new entry way and education facility on Sunday. A formal ribbon cutting for the Nature Exploration Center will be held at noon. Regular admission rates apply.
Mulvane Art Museum's 20th annual Mountain/Plains Art Fair is taking place Saturday and Sunday. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday on the campus of Washburn University. Tickets are $6 at the gate and children 12 and under are free. The event will feature over 80 artists from across the country.
