Weekend Wreck Kills Oskaloosa Man
(WIBW/Tonganoxie Mirror) - An Oskaloosa man died over the weekend when the vehicle he was riding in crashed.
The Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office told the Tonganoxie Mirror that 18-year-old William Kelly of Topeka was driving a Nissan pickup that overturned at 4:30 am Sunday as it was making a left-hand turn from Ragtown Toad onto 251st Street. The location is about six miles northwest of Tonganoxie.
A passenger, 25-year-old Lee King of Oskaloosa, was partially ejected and died at the scene. Kelly was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
