TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--Water main breaks across the capital city have left roads blocked and people without water.

Sunday, crews worked to repair this one at 21st and Gage.

They say westbound traffic at the intersection will be blocked Sunday night.

Workers say they've seen four major water main breaks, and one leak Sunday.

Sunday night - homes between 23rd and 21st streets on Morningside, homes at 7th and High Street and homes in the 4300 block of Drury are all without water.

Topeka water officials say residents near 7th and high should have their water back by Sunday nigh while the rest may have to wait until Monday morning.
