TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--Three Washburn alumni and a former professor received honors at an alumni awards banquet this evening.
Cindy Rogers got the distinguished service award for her work with the mentally ill and disabled.
Dorris Hedberg was awarded for her contributions to the performing arts.
Trey Cocking, Atchison's city manager, Was named graduate of the last decade and Howard Faulkner won the colonel John Ritchie Award. He taught at Washburn for nearly 40 years.
