TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Washburn University students, staff and faculty took to the bowling alley for a great cause.
The school hosted its third-annual Bowl for Kids' Sake event Wednesday night at Gage Bowl to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Topeka.
Washburn's campus activities board and numerous Greek chapters assisted in organizing the event.
The annual event is a major fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. In addition to the college night, an event is held for corporate donor teams, plus two Saturdays for community teams.
