WAMEGO, Kan. (WIBW) - Local students turned an eye toward the future.

Wamego Middle School held a career fair Wednesday. Professionals from all sorts of careers were invited to share the details of their work with the school's eighth graders.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies, agriculture workers and Army pilots all spoke to the students. 13 News chief photographer Doug Brown also was on hand showing off how WIBW-TV uses technology to bring viewers the news.

Students learned the education and skills needed for various careers and had a chance to ask questions of participants.
