TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Washburn University is changing its online identity.
School officials unveiled their redesigned website Monday.
President Jerry Farley says it features more than 2500 pages of content. He says the upgrade was necessary, given how the internet is how people now get their information.
Washburn.edu now includes virtual tours, interviews and interactive videos.
Farley says the year-and-a-half long project used input from all faculty and staff members as well as students. He says it will never be truly finished, as they plan to continually update the site.
The design was developed by local companies Barkley REI and jones huyett Partners.
