Voting rights groups are appealing a decision on a controversial citizenship law for new voters in Kansas and Arizona.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Voting rights groups are appealing a decision on a controversial citizenship law for new voters in Kansas and Arizona.

Judge Eric Melgren ordered the Federal Election Assistance Commission to modify a national voter registration form, to add special instructions requiring proof-of-citizenship for Kansas and Arizona residents.

More than a dozen voting rights groups filed today with the10th Circuit Court of Appeals, they want a review of the ruling.
