Virtual Food Drive Announced

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Topeka and Shawnee County Homeless Task Force and The Point In Time Homeless Count have announced the areas first virtual food drive and proceeds will go to Harvesters.

Harvesters provides food to more than 620 nonprofit agencies across a 26-county region of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas, including Shawnee county. Harvesters’ network of nonprofit agencies will provide food to one in eight people in our area this year, and 66,000 people each week.

Their goal is to raise 1 dollar from every Shawnee County Resident
