MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Students at Kansas State University continue to mourn the death of sophomore English student Thomas McCord.

A vigil for McCord will be held at 9:15 PM Wednesday at St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center, on the corner of Denison Avenue and Anderson Avenue in Manhattan.

McCord, from Overland Park, was found dead inside his dorm room by his roommate and his roommate's girlfriend on Sunday, October 28, 2012.

University staff and campus police responded to Marlatt Residence Hall around 2:15 PM.

His death is not considered criminal in nature and university officials said it was not the result of "self harm." Further circumstances are still unknown. The case is still under investigation. An autopsy was conducted Tuesday. Authorities say they are still waiting on toxicology reports to determine the exact cause of death.

Housing and dining staff are working with counseling services to help students and staff through the grieving process.
