BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. (WIBW)-- A semi on fire on the Kansas Turnpike caused traffic problems Wednesday morning.
The rig was on fire in an eastbound lane of I-70, blocking traffic from exiting the eastern terminal west of Bonner Springs.
The left lanes of the roadway were being cleared around 10:30 a.m. Traffic was expected to be flowing through the area shortly after.
An official cause of the fire had not been released Wednesday morning.
Turnpike officials said minor injuries were reported.
