Vietnam Era Veterans Bring Attention To POWs/MIAs

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A group of veterans from the Vietnam era want Americans to never forget those held prisoner of war or who are missing in action.

The Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club was at Topeka Harley Davidson to draw attention to "POW/MIA Recognition Day."

The first 50 vets who stopped by received a t-shirt.

A ceremony marking POW/MIA recognition day takes place at 6:00 p.m. Friday night at the Kansas Vietnam Memorial in Junction City's Heritage Park.
