TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Police say a man was stabbed late Tuesday night, but he and witnesses were able to tell officers who committed the crime.
They were first called to the crime scene at 11:02 p.m. at 3101 SE Mareta Circle, Topeka. There, a man with non-life threatening stab wounds and witnesses told officers the person who stabbed him was William Guice, 23.
At 11:39 p.m.officers located and stopped the Guice's car at 23rd and Massachusetts. Guice was taken to the Law Enforcement Center to be questioned by detectives. He was then booked into the Department of Corrections.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
