MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Teachers in USD 383 have tentatively reached a contract agreement with the Manhattan-Ogden district.
The district and its branch of the National Education Association say the deal includes a three-percent increase in total compensation. The number includes a $900 hike in the base salary. Starting teachers in the district will earn $34,900 a year.
Teachers will vote on it in August. If they approve, the board must also then vote on ratification.
